Mantra to Cure Eye Diseases

     This Mantra was chanted by Saamban who is son of God Sri Krishna and Jambavathy. Saamban got disease that was cursed by his father Sri Krishna. After then Saamban went to Kasi to worship Sun according to the guidance of Sri Krishna to remove Saamban’s illness. He chanted the below sloka and got cured. Saamban worshipped The Sun called as Saambaathiyar.

 

"Vivarthano Vivarthamanas cha Marthando Bhakaro Ravi:

Loka prakasaka Sriman LokaChakshu Maheswara

Lokasakshi Trilokesa Kartha hartha thamiraha

Thapana: Thapanaischaiva Suchi: Saptha swa vahana:

Gabasthi hastha:  brahmanya:  sarva deva  namaskrutha:

Sareera aarogya daschaiva Dhanavruthi Yasas kara !"

The transformer, one who shines, bird of the sky, the one who lights, one who bestows,

One who lights the world, the eye of the world, the great lord,

The witness of the world, The god of three worlds, the doer, the destroyer and killer of night,

He who heats he who cools, the pure one, one who rides on seven horses,

He who has shining hands, one who has realized Brahman, one who is saluted by all devas,

He who improves health, increases wealth and fame.

"விவர்த்தனோ விவஸ் வாம் ச மார்த்தாண்டோ  பாஸ்கரோ  ரவி:

லோகப்  பிரகாசக  ஸ்ரீமான்  லோகசக்ஷு  மகேச்வர

லோகசாக்ஷி  த்ரிலோகேச  கர்தா ஹர்தா  தமிஸ்ரஹா

தபந: தாபநச்சைவ  சுசி: ஸப்தா ஸ்வ வாஹந :

கபஸ்தி ஹஸ்த:  ப்ரம்மண்ய: ஸர்வ தேவ நகஸ்க்ருத :

சரீர  ஆரோக்ய தச்சைவ தனவ்ருத்தி  யசஸ் கர !"

" அவர் மும்மூர்த்திகளின் பிரத்யட்ச சொரூபம். உயிர்களைப் படைப்பதில் பிரமனாகவும், காப்பதில் விஷ்ணுவாகவும் அழிப்பதில் சிவனாகவும் முத்தொழிலையும் புரிந்து வருகிறார். அவர் உதிக்கும்போது உலகம் உயிர்க்கிறது. உயிர்களை உயிர்ப்பிப்பதால் அவர் பிரம்மன் ஆகிறார். " 

   The above Surya mantra chanted for curing eye diseases. The mantra is chanted 12 times a day daily. We can chant 108 times a day on Sundays and first day of tamil month. We can offered neivethyam as Jaggary rice (Sarkkarai Pongal).
