This is the best mantra for people who want to construct their own house. On a Monday of a Waxing Moon period (After the new moon) sit in Pooja room facing north. Keep a picture of Mahalakshmi in front of you along with the picture of your Guru (spiritual guide). If you don’t have a Guru then keep a picture of Lord Shiva and worship him as your Guru. Do the necessary daily pooja.

Thereafter ignite a ghee lamp and incense. Then chant the following mantra.

Meaning : 

    

              I worship Lord Hayagriva, who is the very form of knowledge, pure as a crystal, and who is the support of all knowledge.

            Lord Hayagriva is  a avatar of god Vishnu. 'Haya' means Horse and 'Griva' means neck, well known horse faced god of Hayagriva and god of knowledge and wisdom. One who prays Hayagriva shall be blessed with all knowledge and wisdom. He is the one who taught knowledge to Goddess Saraswati.
