Runa Vimochana Narasimha Sthothram

Lord Narasimha is a Ugra Form of Lord Mahaa Vishnu, but His Ugra Form is fearsome only for those who are demonaic in nature and transgress the line of Dharma. For His devotees, He is the Shantha Narasimha - the Graceful Lakshmi Narasimha with Devi Lakshmi seated on His lap and His child Devotee Shri Bhakta Prahlaada worshipping Him.

He/She who reads daily this prayer for getting rid of his debts, would surely soon earn lot of money and be debt less.

Sri Vishnu Sahasranam is well known stotra about thousand names of lord sri vishnu. It is found in mahabarata. It is very powerful and to be chant this stotra daily.  There are 108 stanza in this Sri Vishnu Sahasranam. chant its every stanza is purpose for all. as mentioned, chanting  65th stanza of this stotra gives good wealth for the devotees.

Shreeda: One who bestows prosperity on devotees.

shreeshah: One who is Lord of the Goddess Shri.

shree-nivasah: Shri here denotes men with Shri, that is, virtue and power. He who dwells in such men is Shrinivasa.

shree-nidil: One who is the seat of all Shri, that is, virtues and powers.

shree-vibhavanah: One who grants every form of prosperity and virtue according to their Karma.

Shree-dhara: One who bears on His chest Shri who is the mother of all.

shree-kara: One who makes devotees - those who praise, think about Him and worship Him- into virtuous and powerful beings.

shreyah: 'Shreyas' means the attainment of what is un-decaying good and happiness. Such a state is the nature of the Lord.

shreem-man: One in whom there are all forms of Shri that is power, virtue, beauty etc.

lokatra-yashrayah: One who is the support of all the three worlds.

this prayer is apt for children who goes to school; this prayer is considered as good for children  to improve education and sharpen those knowledge, Maha Periyava also said.

            வாக்கு உண்டாம் நல்ல மனம் உண்டாம் மாமலராள்

            நோக்கு உண்டாம் மேனிநுடங்காது - பூக்கொண்டு

            துப்பார் திருமேனித் தும்பிக்கை யான் பாதம்

            தப்பாமல் சார்வார் தமக்கு.

விளக்கம்:

    பூக்களைக் கொண்டு சிவந்த மேனியுடைய விநாயகரது பாதங்களைத் துதிப்பவர்க்கு வாக்குத் திறமையும், நல்ல மனமும், பெருமலரை உடைய லக்ஷ்மியின் கடாக்ஷமும், நோயற்ற வாழ்வும் கிடைக்கும்.

Those who seek the trunk faced Lord with red-coral like complexion and worship his feet with flowers without fail will be blessed with good speech (literary ability, knowledge), good heart (good thoughts). They will also have the favourable looks of the Goddess seated on lotus (Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth) and their bodies shall not be afflicted with diseases.
